I am shocked and sad at the report of this needless tragedy. Once again the Males in Hollywood have destroyed a life. They took a beautiful brunette and played on her insecurities until she felt to work she needed to go blond, have plastic surgery (several actually), and become anorexic in order to be the elusive size "00" that the Hollywood Men look for when casting. This poor girl should have had her whole life ahead of her and now instead her family is planning the funeral of a 32 year old. PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO THIS AND LET IT BE A WAKE UP CALL THAT EMACIATION IS NOT THE WAY TO FORCE WOMEN IN THE ENTERTAINMENT FIELD. Men can gain weight and there is no effect on their careers, but let a woman gain 5 pounds, or have a child and not get back down to a zero inside 6 months and their careers suffer. WHAT DO YOU THINK THE GIRLS IN MIDDLE SCHOOLS AND HIGH SCHOOLS ALL AROUND THIS COUNTRY ARE EMULATING?
PLEASE STOP THE OBSESSION WITH THE SUPER SKINNY. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH BEING A SIZE 2 or 4 or 6. THESE WOMEN ARE TOLD THEY ARE TOO FAT. I HAVE HEARD IT WITH MY OWN EARS!!!

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE - You have the power to STOP this needless starvation of females in the field. An actress who recently married went from a size double zero to a size two and rumors went rampant that she was pregnant. This is insane.
Please let Brittany's life and, way too early death, have meaning and put an end to this foolishness before other young actresses die. How many young actresses can you count who have gone away for treatment for eating disorders. I can name in the double digits but for legal reasons I will not.
I am begging the powers that be in Hollywood to change their standard from a very unhealthy size double zero to a healthy size four!!!
